  • Kym Longhi (she/her)

    Artistic Director

    Kym Longhi is the Artistic Director of Combustible Company and the director of all their previous works. Prior to co-founding Combustible Company, she was a core company member with Margolis Brown ADAPTORS Company, collaborating and performing in their original works. She has also worked with Off-Leash Area, Mixed Precipitation, Skewed Visions and Flaneur Productions. She has served as faculty for the University of Minnesota’s Department of Theater Arts and Dance since 2001, and is the first Certified Margolis Method Instructor in the US.

  • Erik Hoover (he/him)

    Associate Artist

    Erik is a founding member of Combustible Company and has appeared in most of the company's productions. He's also worked with many other Minnesota companies including Wonderlust Productions, Walking Shadow Theatre, Theatre Novi Most, Paul Bunyan Playhouse, Pillsbury House, Park Square, and the History Theater.   • Nick Likens (He/Him)

    Guest Artist

    Nick graduated in Fall of ‘22 from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Theatre Performance. This is his third production with Combustible Company. He continues his pursuit of theatre through performing and playwriting and enjoys cycling and bouldering.

  • Nick Miller (He/Him)

    Guest Artist

    Nick is a Twin Cities based actor and musician dedicated to works rooted in social conscience and dialogue. In previous years, Nick has been fortunate to have appeared in shows by The Combustible Company, The Birthplay Project, Mixed Precipitation, and Mill City Opera following a number of years as a performer and teacher in New York City.

  • Anna Pladson (She/Her)

    Guest Artist

    Anna graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2017 with a BA in theatre. She has been a core collaborator with Combustible Company since 2016, both as an actor and stage manager. Anna studies voice with Ronnie Bell, Viterbo Conservatory for the Performing Arts, and practices aerial arts with Xelias Aerial Arts. Her passion is to create devised, dynamic, original work that inspires both the actors and the audience.

  • Renee Howard Hatton (She/Her)

    Guest Artist

    Renee is very excited to be a part of Combustible Company's production of The Hairy Ape! She loves the creative process and what it can bring to life on stage. Her past performance with Combustible Company was Bluebeard’s Dollhouse in 2016 at the James J Hill House. She most recently received an MA in Theater from Regent University. She is also pursuing a Margolis Method Certification.

  • Kaleb Baker (He/Him)

    Guest Artist

    Kaleb is so excited to be a part of his first Combustible Company production in The Hairy Ape. A Twin Cities based actor and filmmaker, he recently graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2023 with BA degrees in Theatre Arts and Studies in Cinema and Media Culture. In addition to working on many shows through UMN, he's had the privilege of performing with other Twin Cities companies such as Frosted Glass Creative, Black Dirt Theatre, The Seasons Dinner Theatre, and The Guthrie.

  • Joni Griffith (She/Her)

    Guest Artist

    Joni is a musician, performer, media maker, and educator in the Twin Cities. She is a performing member of theatre companies Mixed Precipitation and Combustible Company – helping to devise new works performed across Minnesota and Wisconsin. As a multidisciplinary artist, her practice seeks to continually explore the transformative power of sound, story, and community.

  • Michael DiPrima (He/Him)

    Intern

    Michael has been performing with Combustible Company for the past two years, previously appearing in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (Nick Bottom), and “The Tempest” (Sebastian, Trinculo). He is thrilled to work with this wonderful group of artists to develop this show and its message into something that resonates with modern audiences, 101 years after Eugene O’Neill wrote it!

  • Alice Wenzlow (She/Her)

    Intern

    Alice Wenzlow is absolutely thrilled to be performing in her first show with Combustible Company. She has had the best time delving into this play and learning from this wonderful group of artists. She is currently in her senior year at the University of Minnesota where she studies Theatre Arts and English. In her free time, she likes to read, write creatively, and leisurely ride around the city on her bike.
